The Florida Association of Kennel Clubs, Inc. (FAKC) is a 501(c)(3)  non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of animals, especially pure bred dogs. It is a "Club of Clubs", with its members being dog clubs throughout the State of Florida including those affiliated with the American  Kennel Club (AKC) and independent of the AKC. The FAKC has no individual  members.

The Scottish Terrier Club of America (STCA) is dedicated to the pedigree dog and adherence to sound principles that enable this wonderful breed  to flourish. Members are a diverse group united in their interest in the  breed.

 As one of the most progressive of breed clubs, the Scottish Terrier Club  of America formally established the Health Trust Fund in 1994,  dedicated to the health and quality of the life of the Scottish Terrier.   

The Club has taken an active role in rescue since the 1970’s and in  2005, a Rescue Trust Fund was established to accept tax deductible  donations, to support rescue groups with necessary funding, and to be  prepared for emergency needs, such as the closing of large puppy mills.

The  Scottish Terrier Club of Tampa Bay (STCTB) was formed as a regional  chapter of the Scottish Terrier Club of American (STCA) in 1987.   Although the founding members primarily resided in the Tampa Bay area of  Florida, the club represents and serves Scottish Terrier owners and  fans throughout the state of Florida.

Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF) is a  nonprofit  dog rescue organization created in 2015 that is registered  in the State of Florida as a charitable organization.  STROF is dedicated to the rescue and placement of  homeless and displaced Scottish Terriers in Florida. STROF policies and practices align with the Scottish Terrier Club of America Rescue Code of Conduct. 

For immediate rescue assistance for a Scottie in need, or to surrender a displaced Scottie to a place of safety, contact STROF instead of giving the Scottie to a shelter, animal control or casual friend.  You can reach STROF 24/7/365.
