The membership of STCTB includes a number of very experienced, successful Scottish Terrier breeders. They are a great place to start for general information about Scotties and to inquire about availability of puppies in Florida.
Please note that puppies are not always readily available, and you may need to consider being placed on a breeder's "waiting list" to find that special, healthy, well bred pup to add to your family. It will be worth the wait!

If Scottie pups are not immediately available in Florida at the time you are looking it could be tempting to search by going to a pet store, looking online or on Facebook, or checking the classified ads. Instead, we urge you to contact the Scottish Terrier Club of America (STCA). The STCA is the national club that represents Scotties across the country. They can provide you a detailed referral list to quality Scottie breeders across the U.S.
The STCA website also offers a list of currently available Scottie pups in various states.

"Saving Scotties in the Sunshine State" is the goal of the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF). STROF can provide information about adopting a rescue Scottie. There are loving rescued Scotties of all ages and descriptions available who want nothing more than a permanent, safe home where they can repay their adoptive parents with loyal companionship, snuggles, and an occasional wet Scottie kiss! Temporary foster homes are also needed at times for rescued Scotties who need intensive medical care and rehabilitation until they are ready for a permanent new home.
Adopting or fostering a Scottie who needs a new home is immensely rewarding and truly "a labor of love".
